U.S. President Donald Trump's first federal budget won quick criticism for slashing at the safety net for American citizens.

The fiscal plan has also been criticized for being based on economic assumptions which are impossible to achieve.

US Dept. of Justice tightens language for Executive Order on "Sanctuary Cities"

Apple and Nokia settle patent dispute

Apple and Nokia have agreed to co-operate after the two companies

America's top intelligence official has declined to comment on a report that President Donald Trump asked him to publicly deny evidence of collusion during the 2016 election.

The Washington Post article said that Trump made the request after then-FBI Director James Comey disclosed that the bureau was investigating potential coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian officials.

8-year-old girl confirmed among dead in Manchester attack, several still missing


It's now been confirmed an 8-year old girl was among those killed in Monday's suicide attack in Manchester.

12 children are among the 59 injured, with a number of people still unaccounted for.

Local officials are advising people looking for the missing to go to Manchester's Etihad soccer stadium.

Indian Army rewards officer who used civilian as human shield

A military officer who is accused of using a civilian as a 'human shield' has been awarded by the Indian army for his efforts in counter-insurgency operations.

The officer reportedly tied a civilian to an Army vehicle to defend his convoy from civilians pelting stones. The Army says the reward is not linked to this incident, which is still being probed.
