YouTube restores blocked videos

YouTube has modified its settings after complaints it was blocking political and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (or LGBT) videos.

The video website's 'restricted mode' is designed to hide content judged unsuitable for children - but many LGBT video-makers said their content had been targeted.

US and Philippines scale back planned military exercises


The US and the Philippines are scaling back planned military exercises next month.

US drone strike kills Yemeni militants & civilians

local residents.

European Commission President Comments on French Election Results

World's first Malaria vaccine goes on trial in Africa

The world's first malaria vaccine will be trialled in three African countries, raising hopes of lowering a death toll of more than 400,000 people each year. Le Pen and Macron to face off in French Election's final round

The next French President will be either far-right National Front leader Marine Le Pen or centrist candidate Emanuel Macron.

They will go head to head in a second round of voting in 2 weeks time, after Sunday's first round dealt a blow to the traditional parties of the right and left in France.

Celebrating with supporters, Marine Le Pen vowed to defend France from what she called "rampant globalization".
