India speaks out on China renaming Indian locations in north east

India has slammed China's renaming of locations in a disputed territory in a north eastern Indian state.

China renamed six places in India into standard Chinese after Beijing raised strong objections to the Dalai Lama's visit to the area near the Tibetan border.

The Indian government raised strong concerns about America's review of the H1B visa process.

Arkansas executes first inmate for 12 years

The U.S. State of Arkansas has executed its first inmate in 12 years.

This comes after the U.S. Supreme Court denied requests to halt the
execution of convicted murderer Ledell Lee.

The state had originally planned to kill eight people within an 11 day
window prompting a battle in the courts.

Paris attack update [CLIPS]

French President Francois Hollande has called attack in the center of
Paris cowardly and an act of terrorism.

A French policeman was shot dead with another two wounded in the
incident which occurred on Thursday night.

The so-called Islamic State have claimed responsibility.

The assailant was shot and killed by French police and authorities say
he has now been identified.

This comes just days before the presidential election and officials
say they are now assessing whether he had accomplices.

Report: US preparing to file charges against Assange as Attorney General calls his arrest "priority"

It's reported that the US Department of Justice is preparing to file charges against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, who remains holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.

The US Attorney General Jeff Sessions is calling the arrest of Assange a "priority".

US President rules out further US military action in Libya


US President Donald Trump on Thursday ruled out further US military action in Libya.

But he added that he does see a role for his country in defeating ISIS in the region.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni at the White House...President Trump said the US is already heavily involved in other global conflicts:

One policeman dead, two injured in "terrorist" attack in Paris

One police officer is dead and two others wounded after a shooting incident in the center of Paris.


Police evacuated the Champs Elysees, one of the city's busiest thoroughfares, after a police car came under fire.


One attacker was killed at the scene. 


Police have now issued an arrest warrant for a second attacker who reportedly arrived in France by train from Belgium.


President Francois Hollande has chaired an emergency of his Cabinet, just three days before the first round of the French Presidential election.


The dead gunman was reportedly known to the authorities.

French President holds emergency meeting after Paris attack

French President Francois Hollande is hosting an emergency cabinet meeting in Paris after an attack on the Champs Elysees left one policeman dead and another wounded.


A gunman was shot at the scene.


There's been a massive police response, and people were urged to evacuate one of the busiest thoroughfares in the French capital.

There are some reports that a manhunt is underway for a second shooter.

Iran FM says US should fulfill own obligations under nuke deal

Pres. Trump threatens trade war over dairy with Canada

Courts block series of executions in American state of Arkansas

American courts have blocked a controversial plan by the state of Arkansas to execute seven convicted murderers by the end of the month.
