United passenger likely to sue after being dragged from plane

A doctor who was dragged off a United Airlines plane by police is likely to sue the airline for using excessive force.

The lawyer and daugher of 69-year-old David Dao have held a news conference in Chicago following doctor Dao's release from hospital . Lawyer Thomas Demetrio said Dr Dao lost two teeth, suffered concussion, a broken nose and sinus damage, and would have to undergo reconstructive surgery.

He said Dr Dao, who came to America from Vietnam in 1975, was taking the action on behalf of millions of passengers who had been bullied by airlines, especially United.
