US launches missile strikes in Syria following chemical 'attack'

The United States has launched dozens of missiles at a Syrian airfield in response to what it believes was a chemical weapons attack by the Syrian regime.

Earlier, Donald Trump's administration said Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad should have no role in a future Syria.

UN Security Council postpones Syria vote amid disagreement

The United Nations have been unable to agree on a proposal calling for
a full investigation into the chemical weapons attack in Syria.

They were set to vote on the resolution on Thursday evening, but
Syria's ally Russia threatened to veto.

Violent Protests in Venezuela

Opposition supporters clashed with the national police in the Venezuelan capital Caracas as part of a protest against President Nicolás Maduro's government.The protest started out peacefully as thousands of people blocked the principal highway that cuts from the wealthy eastern section of Caracas to downtown.

Twitter Sues US Government for Trying to Unmask Account

Twitter is suing the US government for trying to unmask an account that has been tweeting criticism of President Trump. 

Since Donald Trump's inauguration, several unofficial deviations from federal agencies' verified online Twitter profiles — or alt accounts— have tweeted criticism of administration policies.

Rep. Nunes is high quality - Pres. Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump says Rep. Devin Nunes is a high quality person.

Rep. Nunes has recused himself from his role as the chair of the House intelligence committee's investigation into Russia's meddling in American politics, after significant questions were raised about why he briefed the President and not the committee about information he viewed alone.

On board Air Force 1 flying down to Florida, President Trump expressed his confidence in Representative Nunes, and Representative Conaway who is taking his place.

North Korea tops agenda for Trump-Xi visit, Sec. Tillerson confirms

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has confirmed that North Korea's pursuit of nuclear weapons will top the agenda for the meetings between U.S. President Donald Trump and China's President Xi Jinping.

President Trump has now arrived in Florida, a short while after President Xi landed, with the talks set to talk place at the Mar-A-Lago resort.

US officials say President Trump is considering the possibility of launching a military strike on Syria in the aftermath of this week's chemical attack in the north of the country.

Trump reportedly weighting military options over Syria

Senior US lawmaker steps aside from Russia probe [Clips]

The chairman of the US House Intelligence Committee has removed
himself from their investigation into Russia's alleged meddling in
last year's presidential election.

The announcement comes on the same day the House Committee of Ethics
revealed that Devin Nunes is under investigation due to public reports
that he may have made unauthorized disclosures of classified
information.

Nunes says the claims are entirely false and politically motivated but
adds that it's in the panel's best interest if he temporarily removes
himself from the Russia probe.

House speaker Paul Ryan says the Ethics Committee investigation is a
distraction but is standing by Nunes.

First in-person meeting for Presidents Trump & Xi
