UN: World faces largest humanitarian crisis since 1945

humanitarian crisis since 1945, as 4 countries are battling famine.

The UN estimates that 20 million people are affected by starvation - a
number that is expected to rise.

Russia, Turkey leaders meet to discuss Syria, economic cooperation

Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Moscow. They discussed economic ties, energy cooperation and the conflict in Syria.

They announced bilateral relations have returned to a level of full-fledged partnership after a detente following Turkey's downing of a Russian warplane nearly a year-and-a-half ago. Our correspondent Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.

U.S. says it will continue “productive relationship” with South Korea

Nude Photo Sharing Investigation Spreads to All Branches of US Military

UN official says "crimes against humanity" being committed against Rohingyas

"Crimes against humanity" are being committed against Myanmar's Rohingya Muslim community by the country's security forces, according to a top UN human rights official.


Speaking to the BBC, UN special rapporteur Yanghee Lee said the government has to answer for these crimes.

US economy sees strong jobs growth

The US economy added a healthy 235,000 new jobs in February according
to the latest government data.

The first employment report under President Donald Trump showed the
jobless rate also fell slightly.

Russia’s Paralympic Team to miss 2018 Winter Games qualifiers

The International Paralympic Committee refused to allow Russia's para athletes to take part in 2018 Winter Games qualifiers. It demands Russia complies with several conditions before its membership in the international body is reinstated. 2,000 people dead since Turkey-PKK truce failed

The United Nations estimate that around 2,000 people have been killed
since a truce between Turkey and the Kurdistan Workers Party collapsed
in 2015.

The UN believe there have been serious human rights violations since
then and blame the Turkish government for failing to launch any
investigations.

Ethics watchdog slams White House for not punishing Trump advisor


The US government's ethics watchdog had voiced concern over the decision not to discipline top White House aide Kellyanne Conway for plugging Ivanka Trump's clothing brand.

Hospital Trade Group Questions GOP Healthcare Bill

A leading trade group representing US hospitals has expressed fears
about the Republican healthcare bill, saying poor Americans could lose
