UN human rights experts ask for treaty to regulate pesticides

American environment head doubts CO2 contributes to climate change

The new head of the United States Environmental Protection Agency has stunned the scientific community and environmental groups by saying he doesn't think carbon dioxide is a major contributor to global warming.

Scott Pruitt made the comments in a television interview, raising concerns that the Trump administration will pull back from environmental protections domestically and internationally.

Four states ask judge to block migration executive order

Four states are asking a U.S. federal judge to extend the block on U.S. President Donald Trump's executive order limiting immigration, to the newly revised executive order.

Hawaii Files Lawsuit Against Trump’s Revised Travel Ban

Hawaii has become the first US state to file a lawsuit against Donald Trump's revised travel ban, at the federal court in Honolulu.

The US sends marines to Syria to help capture IS stronghold

Hundreds of United States marines have been sent to Syria to help
local forces recapture the city of Raqqa from the so-called Islamic
