Macron Continues Polling Surge

Women's Day protesters' vox pops

The organizers of January's post-inauguration Women's Marches have called on women to come together once again for a protest called "Day without a Woman".

On International Women's Day they urged women to strike and to only spend money at small women-owned businesses as a one day demonstration of economic solidarity.

Thousands also wore red as a symbol of what organisers called "revolutionary love and sacrifice".

Iraqi forces have advanced, retaking key positions in Mosul, including an infamous prison and the museum.

White House continues to blast 'fake narrative' on Russia

The White House has slammed the media, once again, for what it calls 'double standards' in its coverage of the Trump administration in relation to alleged links to Russia.

The criticsm follows news of a criminal investigation into a massive leak of documents related to hacking operations at the Central Intelligence Agency.

Calls grow for information about alleged wiretap of Trump campaign

The American Senate has become involved in investigations into President Trump's claims that his campaign was wiretapped on the orders of former President Barack Obama.

Judge has ruled to proceed with the construction of the Dakota Access pipeline

A U.S. federal judge has ruled in favor of proceeding with the construction of the final section of the Dakota Access oil pipeline.

Probe begins after daring airport raid nets "more than $1 million" in Johannesburg

Suspicions are mounting in South Africa that a gang of armed thieves masquerading as police officers  may have had inside assistance as they made off with more than a million dollars in cash from Johannesburg airport.


The money, in various currencies, was stolen from a restricted zone at the airport on Tuesday night.
