Save the Children warns Syrian children living in state of "toxic stress"
The British charity Save the Children is warning that millions of Syrian children could be living in a state of "toxic stress" due to prolonged exposure to war.
A new report warns the damage to an entire generation could become irreversible without immediate help. From London, Catherine Drew reports.

Swarm of Iranian Boats force US and British Ships to Change Course
A US Navy ship was forced to change course when fast-moving Iranian vessels approached it in the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump signs new executive order in bid to get it past the courts
Trump signs revised travel ban, hopes to overcome courts' objections
US President Donald Trump has signed a revised version of his travel ban, in a bid to protect it from further legal challenges.
The President is restricting immigration into the United States from 6 countries - but not Iraq, which was included in the original executive order.
He's also diluting several other provisions of the original measure.

Moscow welcomes EU clearance for Russian nuclear reactor project in Hungary
LEAD:
Moscow has welcomed the European Commission decision to clear Hungary to expand its Paks nuclear plant. Russia's state atomic giant Roastom will build two new reactors. The EU approval removes the last big hurdle to an upgrade of a site that generates over half of Hungary's electricity output. It will be funded with a 10 billion euro loan from Russia, with Hungary providing the rest. Julia Lyubova reports from Moscow.
