UK SPEAKERS ROW OVER TRUMP SPEECH

The Speaker of the UK's House of Lords has criticised his counterpart in the House of Commons for announcing opposition to US President Donald Trump making a speech to Parliament.

The Lords Speaker says he retains an 'open mind' about President Trump addressing Westminster when he makes a state visit to the UK at some point later this year.

Trump travel-ban arguments to be heard in US Appeals Court


A California court will hear arguments Tuesday for President Trump's controversial travel ban.

The case against the immigration order argues it is unconstitutional, while Department of Justice lawyers say it needs to be reinstated as a matter of national security.

Suspended from IAAF, Russia may miss 2017 World Athletics Championships

The International Athletics Associations Federation has ruled Russia, suspended from the Association over doping in 2015, may not reinstate its membership before November. That may prevent Russian athletes from taking part in  this summer's World Athletics Championship. However, some athletes cleared individually by the IAAF may compete under a neutral banner. UK SPEAKER UNDER PRESSURE OVER TRUMP STANCE

UK House of Commons Speaker John Bercow is under increasing pressure over his opposition to a Parliamentary address by US President Donald Trump.

On Monday Speaker Bercow said 'opposition to racism and sexism' meant the Commons should not allow President Trump to speak at Westminster when he makes a state visit to Britain later this year.

Many senior Conservative MPs are angry and say he should now consider his position for breaching his neutrality and potentially harming transatlantic relations.

The opposition Labour Party has welcomed his stance.

IAAF keeps ban on Russian athletics

Circuit Court Ask for Arguments in Immigration Ban Case

US Embassy in Iraq Reports 'Credible Threat' at Baghdad Hotels

America's embassy in Baghdad said on Monday it has limited the
movement of its personnel after receiving credible threats of possible
