Trump Pick for Health Sec'y Accused of Insider Trading

President-elect Donald Trump's choice to lead the overhaul of the US healthcare system is facing accusations of insider trading. 

According to reports on CNN, Georgia Congressman Tom Price bought stock from a medical company days before introducing a bill that would have helped the company. 

The Senate will hold confirmation hearings for Tom Price -- a congressman and a doctor -- on Wednesday.

Nigeria Airforce Bombs Aid Camp

A Nigerian airforce fighter jet has accidentally bombed a refugee camp in the town of Raan, thinking it was targeting extremist group Boko Haram.

At least 50 people have died, with over one hundred others wounded.

At least 50 killed, 120 injured in "accidental" Nigerian army bombing of IDP camp

Medecins Sans Frontieres says that the Nigerian army has bombed a refugee camp in Rann, Nigeria, killing dozens and injuring more than a hundred others. 


The Nigerian military claims it had "mistakenly" struck the camp on a mission against the extremist group Boko Haram.

Ukraine Files Lawsuit Against Russia At Top UN Court

Ukraine has filed a lawsuit at the UN's highest court, calling on Russia to stop supporting separatists fighting in eastern Ukraine.

It's also urged the International Court of Justice to order Moscow to pay damages for attacks on civilians caught up in the conflict.

It's hoped they will help alleviate the country's inflation crisis.

Putin calls Trump dossier authors “worse than prostitutes”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has described the authors of an
unverified dossier on Donald Trump as worse than prostitutes.

The report alleges that Russia had collected compromising material on

German court rejects ban on extreme-right party

Germany's federal constitutional court rejected an attempt to ban the far-right NPD party, saying their numbers were too small to represent a legitimate threat to the German state.

The party currently has no representation at a state or federal level.

MAY: UK PARLIAMENT WILL VOTE ON BREXIT DEAL

UK Prime Minister Theresa May says she will put a deal on Brexit with the EU to a vote in Britain's parliament.

She made the announcement while setting out detail on her position ahead of talks on the UK leaving the European Union.

Mrs May's also confirmed she believes Britain will leave the European single market trading arrangement.

And she insists the UK can go out and strike trade deals with non-EU countries.

Biden Urges Trump Administration To Maintain Russia Sanctions

US Vice President Joe Biden has urged the incoming administration of Donald Trump to keep up America's sanctions on Russia, imposed after its annexation of Crimea in Ukraine.
