Christine Lagarde will keep her job as head of the International Monetary Fund, despite a conviction on charges of negligence over a state payout she made while French finance minister in 2008.
Ms. Lagarde told reporter at the Fund's headquarters in Washington D.C that she wouldn't appeal against the conviction, but the IMF Board has full confidence in her ability to lead.
