Images of Parade Show US Military Vehicles Acquired by Hezbollah

A group of US armored personnel  carriers have been identified  in images of  a military parade by the militant group Hezbollah.  

The US has denied the vehicles were derived from a military aid package to the Lebanese army.

Trump claims victory as car-maker reverses offshoring decision

The United States is calling on the United Nations Security Council to impose an arms embargo and expand sanctions on South Sudan.


The move comes as a senior UN official warned that the increasing violence could escalate into genocide.

President-Elect Donald J. Trump Selects Attorney General, National Security Advisor and CIA Director

President-elect Donald Trumo announced in a statement on Friday that
he intends to nominate U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions to serve as Attorney
General and U.S. Representative Mike Pompeo as Director of the

US 'concerned' over Russia blocking access to LinkedIn

Australia is responsible for child suffering at detention centers: UN

A United Nations investigator has announced that Australia is
responsible for the well-being of children detained in offshore
immigration centers.

Nearly 1,200 people are being held at processing camps on islands in
Papua New Guinea and the UN warn that children there are suffering
from post-traumatic stress disorder.

UN investigates Syrian aid convoy attack site

United Nations investigators have collected evidence from the site of an airstrike on a UN convoy that killed at least 18 people in September.

They hope to identify who carried out the attack, which they say constitutes a war crime.

Barack Obama has left Germany, concluding what is expected to be his last official trip to Europe as US President.

He's been holding join talks with the leaders of Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK.

They discussed issues including Syria, Libya, the fight against the Islamic State, and the future of the NATO military alliance.

They also agreed to keep up pressure on Russia over Ukraine and Syria.

Buckingham Palace to undergo work costing millions

Buckingham Palace is to get a facelift, with refurbishment work costing 450 million dollars expected to begin in April.

Russia launches multiple air attacks on militant targets in Syria

A English tourist has died while diving on Agincourt Reef off Port Douglas in Australia's tropical north Queensland.

Abe Meets Trump as President-Elect Considers Top Team

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said he was confident of building trust with Donald Trump, after meeting the US President-elect at Trump Tower in New York on Thursday.

Beijing Watching Trump On Asia

Sources with ties to leadership in Beijing say they are carefully
watching to see if US President-elect Donald Trump will go through
with a deployment of a U.S. anti-missile system in South Korea, saying
