American consumers are continuing to increase their rate of spending, rising in September by 0.5%.

A key  measure of inflation also shows that the  price of goods and services are also rising steadily.

UNICEF estimate one in seven children affected by air pollution

The United Nations child agency UNICEF estimate that one in seven
children around the world live in areas with high levels of air
pollution.

Top Democrat Says FBI Chief May Have Broken Law

A top Democrat in the US has said that the head of the FBI may have broken the law by announcing on Friday that the organisation was looking into more emails linked to Hillary Clinton.

 Harry Reid says James Comey could have violated an act that stops federal employees from using their positions to influence elections.

Bank of England Governor Term Expectations

Russia still in talks with Egypt over flights resumption one year since A321 crash

Warrant granted allowing FBI to start trawling through thousands of fresh "Clinton" e-mails.

The US Justice Department has now obtained a warrant to review thousands of e-mails that have been found on electronic devices owned by a top aide to Hillary Clinton and a disgraced former New York Congressman.


It's reported there are more 650 thousand e-mails for investigators to sift through, as they continue to assess whether Mrs. Clinton broke any laws in her handling of classified information.

Reports: FBI find 650,000 e-mails on Abedin/Wiener devices

Reports in the United States suggest that 650 thousand e-mails have been found by the FBI on electronic devices that belong to one of Hillary Clinton's top aides and her estranged husband, disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner.


The FBI is now preparing for weeks of work in a bid to see whether any of the e-mails raise further questions about Mrs. Clinton's handling of classified information when she was Secretary of State.

Clinton campaign attacks FBI over new email probe

Hillary Clinton's campaign team have attacked FBI Director James Comey over his decision to launch a new inquiry into Hillary Clinton's email use.

The US Justice Department advised the FBI not to inform congress of the new investigation, according to reports.

Clinton campaign chair John Podesta told CNN that the FBI announcement was "long on innuendo and short on fact."

EU and Canada finally ink trade deal that almost collapsed

Australia to permanently ban all asylum seekers arriving by boat

Australia's Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has fired another shot in what he describes as a battle of wills between Australia and "criminal gangs of people smugglers".
The prime minister will seek to blacklist for life all asylum seekers who have tried to come to Australia on boats since mid-2013.
