US Supreme Court Declines to Rehear Immigration Proposal Case from President Obama

INTRO:
The US Supreme Court has declined to rehear a case from President
Obama that aimed to spare 4 million people from deportation.

The Justices have decided to keep a lower-court decision in place --
blocking a 2014 Obama Administration plan to help undocumented workers
receive legal residency.

US suspends talks with Russia over Syria, accuses Moscow of targeting civilians

The US is suspending talks with Russia over Syria, blaming Moscow for failing to live up to its commitments.


It accuses the Kremlin of choosing "to pursue a military course" in Syria that has seen a growing number of attacks on civilian targets.

NY Attorney General Sends ‘Cease and Desist’ Order to Trump Foundation

The New York Attorney General has told the Donald Trump Foundation that it's violating state law and ordered it to cease and desist fundraising immediately.

 The letter says the Foundation, in the name of the Republican Presidential nominee, wasn't properly registered in the state.

US brokered oil deal between Baghdad and Erbil vital to Mosul fight

The US envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL had brokered a crucial oil deal between Iraq and the Kurdistan region that paved the way for the retaking of Mosul, Reuters news agency reported Monday.

Trump says 'crippling' cyber-threat 'top concern'


Donald Trump addressed a group of retired military officers in Virginia, Monday.

It was the Republican candidate's first public appearance since a New York Times report revealed he made a loss of nearly one billion-dollars in 1995.

Ethiopia mourns dead citizens of Oromo protest

The Ethiopian government has declared three days of mourning to honour the citizens who died on Sunday in an anti government protest in the  Oromia region of the country.


The government and the opposition both report 52 people died during the incident.

Nemtsov murder trial begins at Moscow military court

UN details "living hell" for Aleppo residents

The United Nations is warning civilians in the Syrian city of Aleppo are enduring a "living hell".
