Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump is not serious

Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump thinks he's running a reality television show and not running a serious campaign to be the next president of the United States.

She spoke after holding a national security meeting in New York.

Reporters asked Hillary Clinton about Donald Trump's telephone interview with Larry King which was broadcast on RT (Russia Today), a channel funded by the Russian government to promote Russian perspectives.

Outrageous and unacceptable are the words Hillary Clinton is using to describe the news that North Korea attempted a fifth nuclear weapons test, repeating President Obama's promise that Pyongyang cannot be a nuclear power.

Donald Trump issued a statement earlier blaming his Democrat rival for the progress made by the regime of Kim Jong Un.

Telling reporters that she supports sanctions against North Korea, Hillary Clinton says China needs to take action.

US Congress approves 9/11 bill allowing lawsuits against Saudi Arabia

The United States is pushing for harsher sanctions against North Korea following the country's controversial nuclear test.

There's been widespread international condemnation of the blast, which occurred as American President Barack Obama was returning from an Asia trip.

State Department spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau said the US was determined that North Korea would not become a nuclear power.

General Motors Recalling 4 Million Vehicles

General Motors is recalling more than 4 million vehicles worldwide to fix an air bag software defect. 

The defect has been linked to at least one death and three injuries.

UN Secretary General "deeply concerned" at North Korea nuclear testing at end of his term


United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon joined world leaders in strongly condemning what is suspected to be North Korea's fifth nuclear weapons test.

His comments came as the United Nations Security Council met on Friday, with the Secretary General urging unity and appropriate action.


Ahead of the emergency meeting, Secretary General Moon said, the goal is to "urgently break this accelerating spiral of escalation."

New research shows benefits of statins

A recent review of the drug statins, argues that the benefits of the cholesterol-reducing treatment have been underestimated.


A number of major health organisations back the findings published in the Lancet, saying the drug lowers heart attack and stroke risks, while the side-effects occur in relatively few people.
