Security Fears Mount Ahead of US Political Conventions

Senior U.S. national security officials say they are worried about the

Obama, Clinton, Trump condemn terror attack in Nice

President Obama has condemned the attack in Nice as "horrific" and says he's offering the French government whatever assistance they need bringing those responsible to justice.


In other reaction, Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump is postponing the unveiling of his running mate which was due to take place on Friday morning in New York.


Mr. Trump told America's Fox News the attacks only underscored the fact that he's been right to call for tougher against to protect America and western society.

BFM-TV: "60 dead, 100 injured" in apparent terror attack on Nice

Scores of people have been killed in the southern French city of Nice after an apparent terror attack on a crowd celebrating Bastille Day.


A truck drove into a crowd, and there were reports of gunshots being fired.


French TV station BFM is reporting that 60 people are dead and more than 100 people injured, and the city authorities are urging people in Nice to stay indoors.

US to possibly propose military plan to Russia targeting Al-Nusra in Syria
