Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Washington for talks with President Obama.

A multitude of issues are on the table, include climate change, nuclear security... and what will happen to the bilateral relationship if Donald Trump becomes the next President.

UN removes Saudia Arabia from list of perpetrators in Children and Armed Conflict report

The United Nations has taken Saudi Arabia off a list of countries
responsible for child casualties in Yemen in its annual report.

The Saudi delegation has said they were wrongly placed on the list of
perpetrators - which cites the gulf state as responsible for 60
percent of children's deaths in Yemen.

UN says men fleeing Fallujah face torture, execution

The United Nations says it has "credible reports " that Iraqi men and
boys are being abused by groups associated with the Iraqi army as they
flee Fallujah.

Iraqi forces are currently battling to take back Fallujah from the
Islamic State- which controls several neighborhoods in the city.

Former team doctor settles with Chelsea over

A former team doctor suing Chelsea for constructive dismissal and sexual discrimination has settled with the Premier League Football club on confidential terms.

Israeli PM meets Russian President in Moscow

The Israeli Prime Minister has arrived in Moscow to mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Israel. House Speaker Paul Ryan concedes Trump guilty of "textbook racism"

The most powerful elected Republican in Washington is conceding that Donald Trump has been guilty of "textbook racism" by criticizing a federal judge with Mexican ancestry.


Paul Ryan, the speaker of the House of Representatives, says he "absolutely disavows" Mr. Trump's comments, which came just days after Mr. Ryan endorsed Mr. Trump for the Presidency.


The issue concerns the judge who is overseeing a legal case about Trump University.


The Republican Presidential candidate says the judge cannot be fair, because he's of Mexican descent.

UPDATE: Turkey's President Blames Morning Blast on Kurdish Militants

At least 11 people are dead after a bombing in central Istanbul, which Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is blaming on Kurdish militants.

The attacked targeted a police bus shuttling officers during the morning rush.

European Court of Justice rules migrant detention is illegal

The European Court of Justice has ruled non-European migrants should not be detained for illegally entering an EU member state.
Non-Europeans found to be illegally in the bloc should instead be returned to the country from which they came, the court says.

Foreign Office issues Euro 2016 terror warning

Football fans travelling to Euro 2016 in France have been warned by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office about a potential terror threat.
 
Advice has been issued to those going to the upcoming tournament, telling them to be on their guard at all times.

The warning comes as France remains on high alert for a terror plot following a string of attacks over the past year.

Turkey's FM says they'll suspend EU-Turkey deal on migrants without visa-free travel for Turks

Turkey's foreign minister says they will suspend their deal with the European Union in tackling the migrant crisis if there is no agreement on offering Turkish citizens visa-free travel.

The EU-Turkey deal signed in March sees a one for one returns system of people who's asylum requests have been rejected between the two side.

Britons have just hours left to make sure they are registered to vote in this month's EU referendum.

The deadline is midnight on Tuesday UK time.

It comes with the latest polling suggesting the Leave campaign may be ahead of the Remain camp.

NATO Begins Huge Military Exercise in Poland

More than 20 NATO and partner countries have begun a large-scale, ten-day-long military training exercise in Poland.

Anakonda 16, as it's called, will involved 30,000 troops, as part of efforts to reassure eastern European nations concerned by Russia's annexation of nearby Ukraine.

Clinton, Sanders react to AP claim about Democratic nomination

The Associated Press news agency says Hillary Clinton has won the Democratic Party's Presidential nomination, overcoming a challenge by socialist Senator Bernie Sanders.

Sentencing Statements Go Viral in Stanford Sexual Assault Case

A move is underway to recall the judge who sentenced a Stanford University student athlete in a sexual assault case. 

The case ignited public outrage after starkly different sentencing statements written by the victim and the defendant’s father were published online and went viral.

Prosecutors: No Charges Against Mother of Boy Who Fell into Gorilla Enclosure

No charges will be filed against the mother of the 3 year old boy who fell into a gorilla exhibit at the Cincinnati Zoo. 

Prosecutors say the mother’s actions did NOT merit reckless endangerment charges.
