MAN UNITED AGREE DEAL WITH MOURINHO

Manchester United have agreed a deal to bring Jose Mourinho to the club as manager.

He'll succeed Louis Van Gaal who was fired despite winning the FA Cup at the weekend.

Portuguese Mourinho, former Chelsea and Real Madrid coach, had been linked to Old Trafford throughout the latter part of the English Premier League season.

And the Man United board eventually moved to remove Van Gaal in favour of Mourinho because of the failure to qualify for next season's Champions League, and because the style of play seen this season was not deemed attacking enough.

An official announcement is expected on Friday.
