US warns of 'unduly harsh sentences' for travellers to North Korea

If you travel to North Korea you risk "unduly harsh sentences" for actions that the United States would not consider illegal, that's the warning from the U.S. State Department on Monday.

The department said at least 14 Americans have been held in North Korea over the past decade.

Old Trafford Inquiry Called For

An urgent inquiry into the Old Trafford fake bomb incident has been called for by the city's Mayor and Police Commissioner.


The match between Manchester United at their home ground against Bournemouth had to be called of and rescheduled after a dummy bomb was discovered in the ground, police have said it was left by a private firm who'd been carrying out drills at the stadium.

Poorest would be hit hardest by Brexit, Cameron says

UK Prime Minister David Cameron has warned that the poorest and most vulnerable people would be hit hardest, if the UK decided to leave the European Union.

Writing in the left-leaning Daily Mirror newspaper, Mr Cameron said a Brexit would be a 'national error'.

This comes as more than 300 business figures and entrepreneurs have signed a letter in support of an EU exit.

UPDATE: OLD TRAFFORD DEVICE 'NOT VIABLE'

Police say a suspect package which caused the evacuation of Manchester United's Old Trafford Stadium wasn't viable.

Man's final English Premier League game of the season was abandoned after the package was found.

Sniffer dogs were brought in along with a bomb disposal unit as the ground was evacuated.

EPL officials have to reschedule the match, with all other games in the league season now concluded.
