On eve of possible Indiana victory, Trump accuses China of "rape"

Donald Trump is under fire after he claimed that China's trade policy amounted to the "rape" of America.


His claim came on the eve of a primary election in Indiana that could see Mr. Trump finally secure the Republican Party's Presidential nomination.

Kerry says truce in Aleppo getting closer

US Secretary of State John Kerry says progress is being made in talks
aimed at extending a truce to the Syrian city of Aleppo.

A cessation of hostilities has been in place in Syria for several
months but an increase in violence in Syria's second city threatens to
derail peace talks.

Puerto Rico To Default on Debt Payments

Puerto Rico's governor has halted a 422 million dollar debt payment to the US, due this Monday, after talks on ending the territory's debt crisis failed.

Alejandro Garcia Padilla said in an address to the nation on television that he had issued an executive order suspending payment, in what he called a 'painful decision'.

US regulators oppose $28 billion oil services merger

Halliburton and Baker Hughes have cancelled their proposed $28 billion merger following opposition from American and European regulators.

The deal would have tied up the two biggest oil field services providers and was originally valued at $35 billion.

US cruise liner docks in Havana for first time in 50 years

An American cruise liner has docked in Havana for the first time in more than 50 years.


The Adonia brought 700 passengers from Miami to the Cuban capital in what's being seen as a breakthrough for US tourists wishing to visit the communist island.

Brussels Airport Increases Passenger Capacity

The international airport in Brussels—where two suicide bombers killed 16 during the Brussels attacks—has now reopened part of the Departures Lounge.
