Senior MPs urge action over anti-Semitism row

Senior members of UK Parliament have said not enough is being done to tackle the issue of anti-Semitism within the Labour party.

Shadow home secretary Andy Burham said the party should act quicker to deal with anti-Semitic comments.

This comes after both former London Mayor Ken Livingstone and Labour MP Naz Shah were suspended for comments which brought the party into disrepute.

Britain's opposition Labour Party is facing a crisis over allegations of anti-semitism, just days before crucial elections.
