The Russian defence ministry says it has carried out no air strikes in Aleppo in the last few days, after accusations a Russian plane could have carried out the strike that hit an MSF hospital on Thursday.

Despite a partial withdrawal in March, Russia is still carrying out air strikes in support of the Syrian army.

UK LABOUR FACES ANTI-SEMITISM CRISIS

Britain's opposition Labour Party is facing a crisis over allegations of anti-semitism, just days before crucial elections.

Senior Labour figure Ken Livingstone has been suspended by the party over comments he made about Hitler, a day after a Labour MP was also suspended over posts on Facebook deemed by critics to be anti-semitic.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn denies there is a deep-rooted anti-semitism problem in his party.

Next week there are crucial local elections which are Mr Corbyn's first major test at the polls since he became leader.

Sandy Rashty of the Jewish Chronicle says Labour needs to take the issue seriously.

UN Chief Criticizes Europe's Toughing Stance on Migration

New York Times Faces Discrimination Lawsuit

The chief executive of the New York Times, Mark Thompson, is facing a multimillion dollar class action lawsuit alleging that he introduced a culture of 'discrimination' at the newspaper.

The case claims that Mr. Thompson, a former Director General of the BBC, preferentially favoured younger, whiter staff at the expense of older female and black employees.

Federal agents have arrested 3 people connected to one of the San Bernardino attackers.

US criticises Chinese restrictions on foreign NGOs

China is being criticised by the United States for tightening controls on the activities of foreign non-government organisations inside the country.

Beijing has announced that NGOs, ranging from cultural to business organisations, must be registered and monitored.

US disciplines 16 troops over MSF hospital strike

16 members of the US military have been disciplined over the bombing of an Afghan hospital last year that left 42 people dead.

Strike follows Assad's record - Sec. Kerry

following an airstrike on a hospital, which killed at least 27 people.

The Medecins sans Frontieres center was hit by airstrike, killing 3

Top U.S. officials are suggesting that Russia may be at least partly to blame for the faltering cease-fire in Syria.

The United Nations has called the situation in Aleppo 'catastrophic' following a series of airstrikes which have killed dozens and destroyed a Medicins sans Frontieres hospital.
