Labour accuses the British government of turning their backs on refugee children

Britain's opposition Labour party has accused the government of turning its back on vulnerable refugee children after lawmakers voted against an attempt to allow three thousand unaccompanied child refugees into the UK from Europe.

Government Ministers argued this would create a pull factor, prompting more young people to leave countries like Syria and Iraq for a future in the UK, however this has been dismissed by opponents as "bogus".   From London, Catherine Drew reports.
