Turkey promises to provide legal protection for non-Syrian refugees as part of EU-Turkey deal

Turkey is increasing the legal protection it offers to non-Syrian refugees to allow its deal with the European Union in tackling the migrant crisis to come into full effect.

The EU has been concerned about returning refugees to Turkey over the treatment they might receive.

HILLSBOROUGH DECISIONS DUE

A jury's decision on whether 96 victims of the Hillsborough football stadium disaster were unlawfully killed in 1989 will be revealed later (Tuesday 1000GMT).

The inquests ran for two years and the jury has now reached decisions on all questions relating to the stadium crush which left dozens of Liverpool supporters dead.

NHS JUNIOR DOCTORS ON ALL-OUT STRIKE

The first all-out strike by National Health Service junior doctors in England is underway.

Thousands of junior doctors are walking off emergency and routine care in a row with the government over a new contract.

Patients are being asked to stay away from hospitals unless necessary - and thousands of operations and procedures have been postponed or cancelled.

Junior doctors are angry at a proposed pay deal as the government attempts to make the NHS offer more of a 7 day service.

EU Launches Second Satellite into Orbit

A second European Union satellite is now orbiting earth in an effort to collect treasure trove of data.

Named Sentinel-1b, the satellite will orbit alongside another EU satellite that was launched two years ago.

Rebel leader's chief of staff lands in Juba

South Sudanese rebel leader Riek Machar's chief of general staff has arrived in the capital Juba accompanied by over 100 soldiers.

Chief of Staff Simon Gatwech has arrived ahead of a possible return by Mr Machar, who may take up the role of first vice-president in a transitional government of national unity expected to end more than two and a half years of bloodshed in the country.

Saudi coalition claims to oust Al-Queda in Yemeni city while UN peace talks in place

Ohio deaths preplanned - law enforcement

Ohio law enforcement are predicting it will take a long time to investigate the execution style murders of 8 adults in rural Ohio.
