U.S. president Barack Obama is on a 2-day visit to Germany, where he hopes to build support for the TTIP transatlantic trade agreement.

A successful agreement could help shape Obama's legacy, but some in Europe are skeptical.

Far Right Candidate Leads Austria's Presidential Race

There's a major shake-up in Austrian politics as a far right candidate takes the lead in the country's first round of presidential elections/

Migrant Crisis on Agenda As Obama Meets European Leaders

Barack Obama is set to meet the four most senior EU leaders to discuss efforts to stem the flow of migrants into Europe.

Monday's talks in the German city of Hanover will involve the French President, Italian and British Prime Ministers, and the German chancellor.

Obama Talks Trade, Syria with Angela Merkel

US President Barack Obama has said he's confident that America and the European Union will manage to agree on a transatlantic trade deal by the end of this year.

Mr. Obama was speaking after a bilateral meeting with Chancellor Angela Merkel in the German city of Hanover, where the two leaders have opened the world's largest industrial trade fair.

The President said he understood why trade deals often get negative reactions, but that an EU-US agreement would have advantages for both sides of the Atlantic:

U.S. President Barack Obama is skeptical about the offer by the North Koreans to halt their nuclear program.

UK Debates Obama ‘Brexit’ Intervention

8 dead in multiple shootings in Pike County, Ohio

Uber pays $100 million settlement in US

Uber has agreed to pay up to $100 million dollars in legal settlements.

Class-action lawsuits in two U.S. states had argued that Uber drivers should be classified as full-time employees rather than independent contractors.

Cost of FBI iPhone Hack More than a Million Dollars


The FBI paid more than a million dollars to hack into the iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino killers. 
That’s an estimate based on comments by FBI Director James Comey who compared the cost of the hack to his salary. 
Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum in London, Comey said the FBI paid a lot for the hacking tool, but he said it was worth it.

US President Barack Obama has urged Britain to stay in the European Union, on a visit to the UK.

He says he encourages the British people 'as a friend' to vote for EU membership as a way of strengthening the Transatlantic Relationship as well as the fight against terrorism.

UN urges countries to act on climate change

A record number of countries are signing the climate change agreement
at the United Nations.

Over 170 nations are inking the deal - the largest number to sign an
international treaty in a single day.

But those countries will then need to ratify the agreement, a process
that could take months.

Record Turnout At UN For Climate Deal Ceremony

Diplomats from over 170 countries are gathering in New York to sign the climate accord reached in December in Paris. 

At the opening ceremony, UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon said although there are record number of ministers present for the ceremony, the planet is also undergoing record temperatures, and is in a race against time.

Naomi Ages is a lawyer for Greenpeace USA. She says it's significant that the deal calls for all signatories to work to prevent temperatures rising by more than 1 and a half degrees celcius:
