U.N. refugee agency says 500 may have died in Mediterranean

Trump and Clinton Win Momentum After Home State Victories


Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are continuing their campaigns for the Republican and Democratic presidential nominations, after both won commanding victories in Tuesday's New York primary.

Native New Yorker Mr. Trump won 60 per cent of the vote in his home state, while Hillary Clinton, who was the state's Senator for 8 years, took 58% in the Democratic primary.

First Charges Filed in Flint Water Crisis

Prosecutors have filed the first criminal charges stemming from the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.

Two state officials and a city employee have been accused of covering up evidence of lead contamination. 

Officials say they anticipate their investigation will bring about more charges in the future.

Cool reception for President Obama in Saudi Arabia

U.S. President Barack Obama has met Saudi Arabia's King Salman in Riyadh, for talks aimed at tackling a raft of thorny issues currently complicating bilateral relations.

Celebrations are starting in the UK on the eve of the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.

She turns 90 on Thursday but events will actually go on until mid-June, when there will be street parties across Britain.

FORMER TREASURY SECRETARIES WARN AGAINST BREXIT

A group of former White House advisors are warning Britain not to leave the European Union.

Eight former US Treasury Secretaries have written in the Times newspaper, saying a BREXIT would threaten London's pre-eminence as a financial capital.

Germany Police Raid Anti-Refugee Group

Five people have been arrested following raids by German police charged with attacking refugee shelters in East Germany.
