Nevada Republicans Prepare To Vote In Caucus

Republicans in Nevada are preparing to decide on which candidate they'd like to see win the party's nomination to run for the White House.

Polls show Donald Trump has a big lead in the state, but are often known to be bad predictors of caucus results.

Mars, snickers bars recalled in Germany

Candy maker Mars has ordered a large recall of its Snickers and Mars bars in Germany after bits of plastic were found in the products.

The American company's German unit produces around ten million bars daily.

Business leaders weigh in on EU membership referendum

Some of Britain's biggest companies have signed a published letter warning that the UK's economy will be at risk if the country votes to leave the European Union. 

With campaigning underway ahead of a June referendum on staying or leaving the EU block,  chairmen or CEOs of 100 companies signed a letter backing the campaign for Britain to stay in.   From London, Catherine Drew reports.

Wikileaks: NSA recorded Merkel-Ban meeting in 2008

The web site Wikileaks has released new classified documents claiming to show previously unknown spying by the National Security Agency of the United States

Vienna world's best city to live in, according to research

Vienna has been named the best city in the world for quality of life - in the annual Mercer survey, used by many firms to decided where to post their employees.
German speaking cities led the rankings - with Munich, Frankfurt and Zurich also scoring highly.

Thousands of Afghan refugees and migrants are stuck along the Greek-Macedonia border, as Macedonia enacts a new policy not to let them in.

Syrian opposition pointed to flaws and loopholes in the ceasefire plan that was agreed by Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin on Monday and is thought to "radically transform the crisis situation in Syria". UK BUSINESS LEADERS BACK EU

The leaders of some of Britain's biggest companies have signed a letter saying leaving the EU would put the UK economy at risk and threaten jobs.

The letter, published in the Times newspaper, has signatures from the bosses of Marks & Spencer, Vodafone and BT.

British Prime Minister David Cameron has called an in-out referendum on EU membership for June, after securing a package of reforms in Brussels.

However, those supporting the OUT campaign say leaving the EU would cut costs and regulation for business.

And as UK political correspondent Theo Usherwood reports - the business community is by no means united.

Russian president Putin says they will work with Damascus to uphold ceasefire agreement made with the US

Russian President Vladimir Putin says Moscow will do the necessary work with Damascus to ensure a cessation of hostilities - agreed between Russia and the US over the Syrian war - is upheld.

The ceasefire is set to come into force on February 27th but does not include the Islamic State or the Nusra Front - factions the UN calls terrorist organizations.

UN to visit 7 locations of Syrian chemical weapons use

The United Nations has confirmed it will investigate the use of
chemical weapons at seven locations in Syria, with the goal of
determining who was responsible for the attacks.

This new mission is tasked with apportioning blame and holding
perpetrators accountable.

A previous task force identified chemical weapons had been used,
mainly against civilians - something the head of the mission, Virginia
Gamba, said would simply not be tolerated.

Draft agreement reached on ceasing hostilities in Syria

Russia and the United States have reached a draft agreement to cease hostilities in Syria by Friday.

Syria has been in chaos, with Russia backing President Assad, the US backing anti-government rebels, and both sides supposedly fighting the self-declared Islamic State group. Hundreds of thousands of Syrians have died and millions have been displaced.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest acknowledged to reporters in Washington that ceasing the violence might still be difficult to achieve.

San Bernadino Shooting Victims To File Brief Telling Apple to Unlock Killer’s iPhone

A former US judge representing the victims of those killed in a shooting spree in California last year says he'll file a legal brief telling Apple to cooperate with the FBI investigation into the crime.

Moscow says ISIS attacks aimed at subverting peace

EU Referendum Divisions

Divisions have formed within the UK Prime Minister's cabinet and party, over whether Britain should remain in the EU or leave.

Lavrov, Kerry reach "provisional agreement" on Syrian ceasefire
