Voting underway in New Hampshire primaries

It's decision day in the American state of New Hampshire where primary elections are underway as Republicans and Democrats continue the process of choosing their Presidential candidates.


Republican front-runner Donald Trump is hoping to do better than his 2nd place showing last week in Iowa, while Bernie Sanders has a big lead in the polls over Hillary Clinton on the Democrat side.

German authorities seeking cause of deadly train crash

At least nine people are dead and close to one hundred injured after two trains collided in Germany. 

Authorities are investigating the trains' black boxes but haven't yet found the cause of the crash.

New Hampshire Voters Head To the Polls in First US Primary

People in New Hampshire are voting in the first primary race of the US Presidential election, to choose which Republican and which Democrat they want in the White House.

At least 9 dead in German train crash

At least 9 people have been killed and dozens of others injured after two passenger trains collided head-on in the southern German state of Bavaria.

 Some passengers are reported to be very seriously injured.   Emergency teams are at the scene trying to rescue people still trapped in the wreckage. 

Both trains were partially derailed following the crash which occurred about 60 km south east of Munich.

Second Shooting in Dublin

A second shooting has taken place in Dublin, in what is believed to have been a retaliation move in a gang turf war.


Last week a 33 year old man was shot dead at a weigh-in for a boxing match. Dissident republicans, the Continuity IRA, were thought to be responsible for this first attack, but have since denied any involvement.

France contradicts Cameron's border claims

France has contradicted the claims of British Prime Minister David Cameron that it would withdraw its border arrangements with the UK, if Britain were to vote to leave the European Union.

Change in law leads to boom in driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants in California

US aiming to ramp up zika eradication efforts

One goal for the White House is to use the requested $1.8 billion in funding to help eradicate the Zika virus in the U.S.

The expanding number of infections is now becoming a question for athletes who have trained their entire lives and hope to compete at the upcoming Olympic games in Rio de Janerio, Brazil.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the infectious disease center at the National Institutes of Health says for the majority, a zika virus infection is not a significant problem.

UN Human Rights Council reports on Syria's extermination of detainees

US eyes deployment of anti-missile technology to Asia

The Obama administration is confirming it is talking with South Korea about deploying anti-missile technology.

Record Numbers Renounce US Citizenship or Residency Status
