General Motors on trial for recalls for ignition switch failures

General Motors heads to court in New York City this week to face a
lawsuit over its 2014 recall of millions of vehicles for faulty
ignition switches. The defect has allegedly accounted for 124 deaths
and hundreds of injuries.

American's Death in Florence Treated As a Murder

American music and film lovers are mourning the death of David Bowie as an artist who was willing to try nearly anything.

The the multi-talented musician actor died at age 69, shortly after releasing his latest album, Blackstar.

South Korea: US May Send More Strategic Weapons To Korean Peninsula

The US may send more strategic weapons to the Korean peninsula, in
response to North Korea's alleged nuclear test last week. South Korean
Media is reporting its ally the US may send B-2 bombers, nuclear

UK PM "hopeful" of holding EU referendum by summer

UK Prime Minister David Cameron says he's "hopeful" of reaching a deal with European leaders in February that will allow him to hold a referendum on the UK's membership of the EU.
In an interview with the BBC the Prime Minister said the vote would follow if agreement was reached on his reforms at next month's summit.
Mr Cameron reiterated his desire to see the UK remain in a reformed EU, but said he would rule nothing out if his demands were refused.
