Russian prosecutors appeal for new case against Khodorkovsky

The Russian authorities have accused former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky of extremism.

Khodorkovsky has already served a 10-year sentence on charges of financial crimes.

An online petition calling for the banning of US presidential hopeful and billionaire businessman Donald Trump from the UK because of what's been described as hate speech has reached over 370 thousand names.

FRESH FLOODS STRIKE NORTHERN UK

There's been fresh flooding in the north of England after torrential rain came down in already-soaked areas.


Residents in the village of Glenridding have been advised to stay in their properties, and volunteers have been told to avoid the area while the army and emergency services carry out rescue and salvage operations.


It follows severe flooding in Cumbria after Storm Desmond struck at the weekend.

Illinois Cousin Pleads Guilty to Providing Support to ISIL

Planned Parenthood shooting suspect says he’s a “warrior for the babies"

The man accused of killing three people and wounding nine in a Planned Parenthood women's health care and abortion clinic in Colorado has said that he is "guilty," and called himself a "warrior for the babies."

The suspect's outbursts came during a hearing to press formal charges against 57 year-old Robert Lewis Dear.

His lawyer told the judge he has serious concerns about his client's mental competency.

US boosts anti-ISIS efforts, calls on allies to step up
