New UK terror law allows confiscation of under 16's passports

The British Prime Minister is to extend powers allowing parents to ask for their children's passports to be confiscated if they fear they are at risk of radicalisation...

New rules will also ban people with a conviction for extremist activity from working with children or the vulnerable.

Chinese Pres Xi Jinping to start UK state visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping has praised Britain for what he has described as a visionary choice to embrace China, ahead of a state visit to the UK this week.

Kerry Middle East meetings amid another Israeli death

An Israeli solider has been killed in a gun attack in the southern
city of Beersheva - the latest killing as tensions escalate beyond

US politicans clash ahead of Clinton Benghazi testimony

An American Democrat lawmaker is accusing Republicans of using the Benghazi attack in which four Americans died for political gains.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is due to testify before Congress about the 2012 attack on Thursday.

Thousand of refugees arrive in Slovenia after Hungary closes Croatian border

US Court Convicts Al-Queda Affiliate for Organizing Terrorists

US and S. Korea to Increase Diplomatic Efforts to N. Korea

President Park Geun-hye says that South Korea has agreed to strengthen diplomatic efforts to engage with North Korea.

Concerns have been raised over intelligence reports suggesting North Korea has increased its potential nuclear weapons capabilities.

Korean President Announces Intention to Join TPP

President Park Geun-hye has announced her intention to bring South Korea into the US-led Trans Pacific Partnership trade pact.

The text of an agreement on the TPP was recently completed among the 12 members, which includes Japan, Canada, New Zealand and Vietnam.

Holy site torched amid wave of Israeli-Palestinian unrest

Palestinian protesters have torched a Jewish holy site as the Hamas militant group called for a "day of rage" against Israel.

U.N. urges EU to speed refugee registration ahead of winter

With winter coming, United Nations is urging the European Union to
speed up the registration of refugees before the months grow colder.

Kosovan hacker arrested by Malaysian police to be extradicted to the US
