Calls on Cameron to do more over migrant crisis

Pressure is growing on the British Prime Minister David Cameron to take further action over the migrant crisis in Europe...

On Wednesday Mr Cameron said taking in more refugees from countries such as Syria was not the answer...

But as the situation worsens, some are calling on the UK to do more...as Dan Whitehead reports...

Far East Economic Forum opens in Russia

In Russia the first Far East Economic Forum kicked off in the city of Vladivostok. Russia is hoping to lure its Asian partners after loosing billions of US dollars of investments due to western sanctions imposed on it over its position on the Ukrainian crisis. Hungarian PM holds talks in Brussels with EU officials as refugee crisis deepens

Hungarian prime minister Victor Orban is holding talks with top EU officials in Brussels as the refugee crisis in the European Union worsens.

Many EU countries have criticized Hungary for erecting a razor wire fence on its border with Serbia and closing train stations in its capital Budapest to prevent the refugees from traveling onwards to other countries.

BUDAPEST STATION REOPENS AS MIGRANT CRISIS DEEPENS

Budapest's Keleti railway station has re-opened to hundreds of migrants and refugees camped around it, but without direct trains running to western Europe.

There have been chaotic scenes at the station despite the lack of train services out of Hungary.

Many of the refugees have fled fighting in Syria and are attempting to travel onwards to countries like Austria and Germany to seek asylum.

Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban is in Brussels (Thursday) for talks on the issue.

Chair of EP's strongest political group calls for united EU response to migrant crisis

Hundreds of migrants have protested for a second day at Hungary's decision to stop them travelling on to Germany and other EU countries.

They are among 2,000 people camped at train station in Budapest, having bought tickets for onward journeys.

Meanhwile more than 4,000 migrants arrived in mainland Greece from the island of Lesbos overnight.

Manfred Weber, Chairman of the European People's Party, the strongest political group in the European Parliament, says only a common EU response will provide a lasting solution to the problem.

Microsoft fights US government over seizing data

Microsoft is taking on the US in a court case that could redefine the
government's ability to seize cloud-based company data.

The tech giant is refusing to hand over emails in a drugs case,
despite a previous ruling last year ordering the company to release
the documents.

The case, which in being heard in Manhattan, is likely to have
significant implications for other internet companies.

Gun-toting Texas teen taking selfie accidentally kills himself

A teenager in Texas has accidentally shot himself to death while trying to take a selfie as he held a gun.

UN warn Gaza could be inhabitable in under five years

A new report published by the United Nations states that the Gaza
Strip could become "uninhabitable" in less than five years if current
economic trends continue.

And the UN warn that conflict in the Occupied Palestinian Territory

Deal forces Iran to prove it won't get a nuclear bomb - Sec. Kerry

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told an audience in Philadelphia, everyone needs to understand the deal reached with Iran forces Tehran to prove that it is not pursuring a nuclear weapon.

He laid out the many ways the agreement prevents Iran from gaining the materials or technology to eventually build a bomb.

US Officers Charged In Freddie Gray Death Headed To Court
