UK launch biggest terror investigation over Tunisia since 7/7 bombings

Authorities in Tunisia say the gunman who killed 38 people at a beach resort was likely to have had help in carrying out the attack...

A spokesman from the country's Interior Ministry told Reuters they were "sure" that Seifeddine Rezgui was assisted.

At least 30 of the 38 killed were British, and the UK's MET Police have started a major terror investigation, including the deployment of officers and forensic teams to Tunisia.

New York prison escapee caught

The second of two convicted murderers who escaped a maximum security
prison earlier this month has been captured.

David Sweat was apprehended by law enforcement authorities near the
Canadian border Sunday afternoon, three weeks after a sensational
prison break.

His capture comes two days after fellow escapee Richard Matt was shot
and killed.

SpaceX rocket explodes after lift-off

An unmanned US rocket carrying cargo to the International Space Station has exploded shortly after lift-off.

The privately operated SpaceX vehicle blew up with two-tons of supplies onboard.

ECB to cap emergency loans to Greece

Greece may see its emergency funding capped as reports emerge that European Central Bank governers are considering how to manage an imminent default.

Banks in Greece have been kept afloat by the ECB's emergency liquidity assistance or ELA mechanism since negotiations began to extend Greece's bailout.

Greece's current bailout expires on Tuesday but talks with Eurozone finance ministers have broken down. 

Eurozone finance ministers have been drawing up contingency plans, as Athens prepares to hold a referendum next week on the terms of a bailout deal which Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has labeled unfair.

Reports one New York manhunt suspect killed

US media are reporting one of the two escaped New York convicts has been killed by police. 

Reports suggest Richard Matt was shot by police following an attempted car jacking. 

The men have been on the run for three weeks after they escaped from a prison in upstate New York.

The United Nations has condemned the use of barrel bombs against civilian populations in Syria, calling them "inhumane" and "indiscriminate".

Amid multiple terror attacks, experts say efforts must be ramped up to counter-ISIS threat

At least 28 people have been killed after gunmen opened fire on a Tunisian beach resort.

Authorities say one of the assailants was shot dead, the other is still being sought.

The incident follows an attack at a U.S.-owned factory in France, one man was found beheaded at the scene and two people where injured after a car rammed the site triggering an explosion. One man has been arrested.
