Love is love: Pres. Obama on same sex marriage ruling

U.S. President Barack Obama is celebrating that all Americans are created equal, even when it comes to marriage.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in favor of making same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states.

But as our Washington correspondent Priscilla Huff reports, Republicans were quick to criticize the decision as violating voter's rights.

France attack suspect detained

One person has been beheaded and two people injured in what French President Francois Hollande labeled a terror attack on a gas factory near Lyon.

The suspect, a man in his 30's has been detained and identified but investigators are looking for accomplices.

Donald Trump claims he will sue Univision

Univision, the largest Spanish-language broadcaster in the United States, has decided to end its business relation with the Miss Universe Pageant Organization, which is partly owned by Donald Trump.

The move comes in response to Mr. Trump saying immigrants coming to the US from Mexico are criminals and rapists during his announcement he is running for president..

At least 27 killed in holiday resort attack

At least 27 people are reported to have been killed after an attack on two hotels in a popular tourist resort in Tunisia...

It's understood at least one gunman opened fire on a beach lined with several hotels in the area of Sousse.

One gunman has been killed according to officials.

Guests were told to stay inside their rooms as police and the army descended.

British holiday maker Dan was staying in one of the hotels and says described the moment the attack started...

Terror attacks in Tunisia, France and Kuwait

At least 27 people, including many tourists, are reported to have been killed after gunmen opened fire in the Tunisian holiday resort of Sousse...

Officials say one gunman has been killed after attackers stormed the beach which was full of holiday-makers.

Elsewhere a man has been decapitated at a factory near the French city of Lyon in what was thought to be an Islamist attack.

In Kuwait, at least four have died after a suicide bombing at a mosque, which an Islamic State affiliated group has claimed responsibility for.

Gun laws debated as Pres. Obama leads delegation to Charleston

Vancouver first Canadian city to regulate medical marijuana


Vancouver, British Columbia is the first Canadian city to regulate medical marijuana.

City councillors voted in favour to regulate marijuana retailers despite strong opposition from the federal government.

The city is the first in Canada to do so.

The United Nations has warned Yemen is facing a "looming humanitarian
catastrophe".

Another day of failed talks for Greece

Thursday's set of Eurozone finance meetings have come and gone with no sign of a completed draft for a deal to save Greece from collapse.

Health Stocks Up After Supreme Court Obamacare Decision


The US Supreme Court's decision to uphold subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare, has left the White House breathing a sigh of relief - but it's also a win for health insurers and their investors on the stock market.
