But as well as positivity from the oil sector, Russian President Vladimir Putin hopes also to play up Moscow's attempts to boost trade ties with Asia and other emerging markets.

Julia Lyubova reports from the St Petersburg economic forum.

Angela Merkel says a Greece deal is still possible

EURO FIN MINS MEET IN LUXEMBOURG WITH NO GREEK DEAL IN SIGHT

Eurozone finance ministers are gathering in Luxembourg for talks amid growing pessimism they will reach an agreement over Greece's debts.

Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis says his country has a 'political and moral duty' to find a deal with international creditors, but that it's unlikely to happen at Thursday's summit.

Lenders want Greece to agree to further reforms to release bailout cash, but Athens insists it has gone far enough already with austerity.

Greece could go bankrupt this month if bailout funds aren't released, which could trigger a eurozone and even EU exit.

Economist Vicky Pryce is in Athens - she says no one knows how the situation will be resolved.
