FA: FIFA LEADERSHIP ELECTION IN DOUBT

The head of England's Football Association says he doubts FIFA's presidential election will go ahead as planned on Friday.

This after two criminal investigations continue into world football's governing body.

Seven top officials have been arrested in Zurich as part of a US investigation into corruption.

And Swiss prosecutors have also launched a criminal probe into the process to award the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar.

Greg Dyke leads England's FA which was unsuccessful in its 2018 World Cup bid - and he says the election due in Zurich on Friday must be in doubt despite the FA's support for Prince Ali Bin al-Hussein of Jordan against current FIFA chief Sepp Blatter.
