IS fighters enter Palestinian refugee camp in Damascus

Islamic State fighters are reported to have entered a Palestinian refugee camp in Damascus that currently houses at least 18 thousand people.

The camp at Yarmouk is a short car ride from the center of the Syrian capital.

There were clashes as Islamic State tried to take control of sections of the camp, which is the closest the group has come to the center of power in Syria.

Our Washington Correspondent Simon Marks says the Obama administration will view the news from the camp with concern.
