I.S. POST VIDEO OF 'BOY SHOOTING ISRAELI ARAB PRISONER'

The Islamic State has posted a video online claiming to show a boy shooting dead an Israeli Arab prisoner.

In the video the boy is accompanied by a French-speaking militant who also threatens attacks on Jews in France.

It comes after the families of three British girls who have traveled to join IS in Syria told lawmakers they had no idea their relatives were becoming radicalised - or how they got the cash to fund their trip.

BBC 'SCRAPS ENTIRE TOP GEAR SERIES'

The BBC is reportedly scrapping the rest of its current UK series of Top Gear as it investigates allegations its presenter Jeremy Clarkson punched a producer.

Mr Clarkson has been suspended, although an online petition demanding his reinstatement has gathered over 160 000 signatures (AT THE TIME OF WRITING).

It's the latest in a series of controversies for the presenter, who is one of the BBC's biggest stars due to Top Gear being sold into territories all over the world.

Indonesia threatens a tsunami of asylum seekers into Australia

Hillary Clinton concedes error over e-mail, denies breaking rules

Hillary Clinton has conceded making a mistake in failing to use a US government e-mail account when she was Secretary of State.

Addressing for the first time questions about why she chose not to use a State Department e-mail address, she said she had "opted for convenience".

She insisted that she'd broken no rules, and had handed over to the State Department all the "work-related e-mail" contained on private servers in her New York home.

US State Dept. confirms Clinton emails public after review

The U.S. State Department has confirmed, the 55,000 emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private email account will be made public after a review process.

The U.S. State Department is reviewing the emails as a paper process under the FOIA statute - the Freedom of Information Act.

U.S. State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki says the emails will be made public, but she does not know when.

Venezuela fights back after US sanctions

Wikipedia files lawsuit against US spy agency

The organization behind the popular website Wikipedia is taking the US government to court  over allegations that it's spying on users.

The lawsuit claims that mass surveillance of internet traffic by America's National Security Agency - or NSA - violates the US constitution.

EU backs credit card charges cap

The European Parliament has voted to back a cap on credit and debit card fees for customers in Europe. 

Supporters of a new EU-wide ceiling for charges say it eliminates a current lack of transparency and will save customers billions of euros in fees which retailers typically price into products and services.

Crufts downplays reports of other dogs being poisoned

The organisers of the Crufts dog show have vowed to take action against anyone trying to sabotage a dog's performance.   This follows the death of Jagger, an Irish setter who died at his home in Belgian 24 hours after leaving the event.   

The Kennel Club which organises Crufts, the worlds biggest dog show,  have downplayed reports that a further five dogs may have been poisoned, saying at present they were just rumours.  From London, Catherine Drew reports.

Britain's Foreign Secretary is calling for a beefing up of security services - partly in response to an increased threat from Russia.
