U.S. State Department says Hillary Clinton did not break email rules

The State Department says that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did not break any rules by using a personal email address during her tenure.
Clinton, who is widely expected to run for president in 2016, never used an official government email address during her time there.
State Department Spokeswoman Marie Harf said the former Secretary had turned over her emails from the time but dodged questions about how it could be proved that she had shared all her correspondence:

Obama slams Netanyahu speech on Iran

President Barack Obama has hit back at the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of suggesting "nothing new" during a controversial speech on Iran in Washington.


The President said his negotiations with Iran are "by far" the best way to control the country's nuclear program.

Obama says Netanyahu presented "nothing new" to Congress

US President Barack Obama says he heard "nothing new" in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to Congress over Iran's nuclear program.

In his controversial address, Mr. Netanyahu said the U.S.-led nuclear negotiations with Iran will result in a "bad deal." 

The Israeli leader predicted that a deal would not stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons.

Addressing reporters at the White House, the President said while he agrees with some his Israeli counterparts' points, the Prime Minister offered no "viable alternatives" to stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon

Israeli Leader warns US Congress against 'bad deal' over Iran Nuclear talks


Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the U.S.-led nuclear negotiations with Iran will result in a "bad deal."

Hillary Clinton may have broken rules by not using State Department email address

Hillary Clinton possibly broke federal rules by only using a personal email address during her tenure as United States Secretary of State, according to a report in the New York Times newspaper.

It suggests that Clinton, who is widely expected to run for president in 2016, never used a State Department email address during her time there.

Execution of Georgia woman postponed over "cloudy" drugs

The execution of a woman in the American state of Georgia has been postponed after officials said the drugs that were due to be used appeared "cloudy".


Kelly Gissendaner's execution had already been postponed once because of a snowstorm.

Jihadi John recording emerges in which he denies being an extremist


A audio recording has emerged of Mohammed Emwazi - the Islamic State member who'd become known as Jihadi John - denying being an extremist.

The recording was made by the advocacy group CAGE after Emwazi was deported from Tanzania in 2009 amid fears he was trying to travel to Somalia to receive terrorism training.

Emwazi, whose identity was made public last week, has appeared in a series of Islamic State beheading videos.

In the recording he  describes an interview  with a British intelligence agent who questions Emwazi about the 2005 London terror attacks known as 7/7 and the US terror attacks of 9/11.

Barclays reports big drop in profits

Barclays has reported a big drop in profits - as the banking group sets aside more money to cover investigations and compensation payouts…

European politicians banned from attending funeral of Russian opposition politician

Several European politicians have been banned from attending the funeral of Boris Nemtsov, the Russian opposition politician murdered last week.

One of the dignitaries is former Latvian foreign minister Sandra Kalniete who says she was barred from entering the country after landing in Moscow on Monday.
