The Royal Bank of Scotland has been fined the equivalent of around 87 million dollars by regulators in the UK, following an investigation into failings in its software which left millions of customers unable to access their accounts.
The computer 'glitch' happened in 2012 affecting over six and a half million customers in the UK over several weeks.
