Russia accuses international monitors in Ukraine of bias

Russia has accused international organizations monitoring the conflict in Eastern Ukraine of a pro-Kiev bias.


The accusation comes following announcements from NATO and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) that armored vehicles, weapons, and unmarked soldiers have been seen moving westwards within rebel-controlled territories, from the direction of the Russian border.

White House to move forward with Immigration Reform

EU accused The Netherlands of cutting tax deal with Starbucks

The European Union has accused The Netherlands of granting Starbucks lower tax rates when it's headquarters were based there.

US to Announce Major Nuclear Arms Reform

The US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel is set to announce billions of dollars worth of spending on emergency fixes to the American nuclear weapons infrastructure.

German economy grows, avoids recession

The German economy grew 0.1% in the third quarter, narrowly avoiding a

Cameron outlines measures to refuse entry to returning jihadists


British Prime Minister David Cameron has set out proposed new legislation that would prevent citizens who travel abroad to fight with terrorist groups from returning to the UK.

Russian body trucks reportedly seen leaving Ukraine

Vehicles apparently used to carry the bodies of Russian soldiers have been seen crossing the Russia-Ukraine border, say monitors from the Organisation from Security and Cooperation in Europe.


Ukraine and the west accuse Russia of sending its troops and weapons to fight with pro-Russia militants in eastern Ukraine, which the Kremlin denies.

US government "using drones" to patrol Mexico border

The U.S. government is reportedly using drones to patrol half of its border with Mexico.

The unmanned "Predator Bs" are being deployed to control remote areas where there are no border patrol agents, according to the Associated Press.

Islamic State Releases Claimed Address by Leader Following Airstrike

The group calling itself "Islamic State" has released a recording of a speech it claims was made by its leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.

Violent protests continue over Mexico's missing students


Violent protests have spread throughout Mexico, over the September 26 massacre of dozens of students by the mayor and police of the city of Iquala. 

Demonstrators in nearby Chilpancingo have attacked the Guerrero state congress, setting the building and several cars alight, after Mexican investigators said that local police have confessed to seizing the students and handing them over to the gang thugs.
