Germany Internet company Rocket Internet fell 13% in its first day of trading.

The disappointing performance cooled off excitement about a European tech boom.

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge warn photographers over Prince George

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have asked photographers to stop harassing their 14-month-old son, who is third in line to the British Royal Throne, and his nanny.


No legal action is taking place at this stage, but lawyers for the royal couple say they were prompted to take action after a man was spotted near the child in a central London park.

Health officials monitor 80 who came into contact with US Ebola patient

Texas health officials have confirmed that they are now monitoring 80 people who came into contact with the man under care for Ebola virus at Texas Presbyterian Hospital.

The expansion of the Texas case comes as Hawaii confirms,  a patient has been put into isolation for showing symptoms of Ebola.

Former NZ cricketer bailed in London

Former New Zealand cricketer Chris Cairns has been bailed by a court in London, after being charged with perjury in a UK case dating back to 2012.


Cairns had won 90 thousand pounds (145 thousand dollars) in damages during a libel case brought against an Indian Premier League player who accused him of match-fixing on social networking site twitter.


The former cricketer described claims he fixed matches as absurd and said recently that he would do whatever it takes to prove his innocence, as our UK Correspondent Natalie Powell reports…

Turkey to vote on military action in Iraq and Syria

The Turkish parliament is voting on whether to allow its military to fight Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria.

Parliament is expected to approve the motion but Turkey has been wary of involvement in the conflict which is escalating just across its border in Syria.

The decision could mean the US will use its large airbase at in southern Turkey for air strikes.

British lawmakers question aid cuts ahead of ebola crisis

A committee of British MP's have warned that cuts in the amount of health aid given to Liberia and Sierra Leone has compromised the fight to stop the stread of the Ebola virus.

Kerry Calls For 'Restraint' Towards Pro-Democracy Protestors

US Secretary of State John Kerry has called for Hong Kong to show restraint towards pro-democracy protestors, even as his counterpart from Beijing said that other countries shouldn't meddle in China's internal affairs. 

Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi is visiting Washington for talks with Secretary Kerry, and said all countries should respect Chinese sovereignty.
